Overview of the Chemical Industry
Petrochemical plants are chemical industries that produce chemical products from petroleum and natural gas. Their production process has three characteristics in terms of thermal energy utilization: First, a large amount of steam of different qualities is needed to provide heat and as a raw material for production; second, a large amount of driving power is needed to compress gases and pump fluids; third, a large amount of process heat can be recovered to heat water and generate steam, among which the power consumption of gas compression is very large. Chemical plants need a steam power system, that is, a steam system, that is closely integrated with the production process and adapts to production needs, to supply the steam needed for process heating and as raw materials, and to supply steam to various steam turbines to generate power to drive pumps and machinery.
Boiler Applications in the Chemical Industry
Steam boilers are important equipment in the production of chemical products, and the steam they produce is an indispensable heat and power source in petrochemical enterprises. Zhengguo's various types of boilers for chemical plants are highly automated and can supply steam at a constant pressure. The steam in chemical plants mainly comes from the boilers of self-owned power plants or the park's central heating station, and secondarily from waste heat recovery systems or waste gas incineration systems. With the new national "Air Pollution Emission Standards", all self-owned coal-fired boilers below 10t/h will be canceled, and replaced by park central heating and long-distance heat pipelines, so low-nitrogen and near-zero emission central heating will form a trend of clean energy.
